The NDC congress
The chiefs, Imams, community leaders, women, and the youth of Yeji affirmed their support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with their overwhelming welcome yesterday, Tuesday.
Situated along the shores of Lake Volta, Yeji is known for its significant fishing and agricultural activities and a busy transportation hub that links various other locations through its waterways and roads.
The focus of our policy promises in the Resetting Ghana manifesto will be to develop key infrastructure and implement programmes to enhance economic opportunities in Yeji and other areas.
And explained the concept of the Farmer Services Centres, which will benefit the people of Yeji greatly by providing our farmers with equipment, technology, training, and other resources, including access to markets. I am excited about this intervention because it will empower the farmers and encourage more young people to go into farming.

And also assured the teeming mass of young people in the audience that the National Apprenticeship Programme will be deployed to promote skills training and apprenticeship opportunities. When we equip the youth with practical skills that align with market demands, they will be employable and develop skills that will make them entrepreneurs. This will encourage job creation, help reduce unemployment, and enhance livelihoods in the Yeji area.
Let me thank the constituency executives led by their chairman, the parliamentary candidate, and the member of parliament for their mobilisation.
