UNICEF VACCINATION CAMPAIGN

The first phase of a critical polio vaccination campaign in Gaza started Sunday 1 September with UNICEF, WHO, UNRWA and partners.



More than 85,000 children were vaccinated in the Central Area of Gaza on day one.



The two-round polio vaccination campaign aims to reach over 640,000 children.

All parties MUST respect the area-specific humanitarian pauses to prevent the spread of polio in Gaza and the region.



Children, families and outreach workers must be protected.


Above all, Gaza’s children need a ceasefire.
